Halloween Party Ideas for Fund
Raising
Halloween is our favorite money-making holiday!
“At our school, Halloween, is no
longer a frightening and superstitious time of
year. It's our favorite holiday for fundraising for our school
sports program. We
all look forward to a safe and fun harvest festival
now.
Communities all over the country are gathering in
schools or community centers
or churches to share
the fun and with their families and neighbors. Often
this night
is
cold and crisp and celebrating indoors
makes it possible for the very young and
the not so
young to
share in the festivities! We wanted to make sure
this holiday was
looked upon as safe
and fun, so we call it our Annual Harvest Party.
You do not
have to wear a costume
but if you do, the costume had to follow the theme.
"Last
year, was our biggest money- maker,
because we
had so many people enjoy our
Egyptian Market
Place Halloween
Fund Raising Event. We had dozens of
Cleopatra
costumes, and Caesars but the
prize for best costume went to a man who
made his own King Tut
mask! We believe our success was in part due to the
fact that this theme allowed a huge variety of
costumes,
from Pharoahs to Napolean. This area of the world is
so rich rich in history! "

The parents at our high school want this
night to be more than just a night of trick or
treating. “Halloween has
become one of our most popular holidays for
fundraising” This is
when we have our annual Spaghetti dinner, with games
for the kids and
a silent auctions for the parents. Our seniors sell
their crafts, some of the
moms donate their homemade jams, which we set up as
a ring toss. Pies and cakes are donated by
a local women’s club
and are used for
the Cake Walk. We have all sorts of Halloween
party games for all age
groups and most of the prizes are donated by a local
party
store. |
